Taylor Swift was the very first concert I’ve ever been to, so naturally, I have a soft spot for the world renown musician. Of course, this is not an unpopular opinion. You don’t even have to be a die-hard “Swiftie” to admit that she is a talented musician and businesswoman. In fact, the majority of people in the world would probably agree with me. If you find that hard to believe, talk to any one of the millions Taylor Swift fans that have already attended her most recent world tour.
In addition to the several records Swift has broken with her music in the past, her current worldwide "Eras" tour is shattering new records of its own. With the average attendance per show being around 70,000 people, with a total of 146 shows around the world, “Eras” is raking in about $2.2 billion, becoming the highest-grossing tour in history. Furthermore, the money generated through extra spending by fans on things like hotel rooms, food and transport, heightens the expected total income to about $5 billion. Another record Swift has managed to break during her tour is being the most-attended concert by a female artist ever in the United States, with a total of 69,000 fans at the opening night concert in Glendale, Arizona.
After hearing all of these stats, it is almost impossible to deny Swift's incredible talent, both on the stage, and as a businesswoman in the music industry.
