In her final year as a teenager, Coco Guaff accomplished what most teen tennis players around the world dream of doing their entire life. On Saturday, September 9, 2023, Guaff became the youngest American to win a grand slam title since Serena Williams at the 1999 U.S. Open. Guaff claimed this title after dominating the women’s singles match with a 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory over Aryna Sabalenka.

Gauff burst onto the tennis scene at a mere age of 15 by becoming the youngest qualifier in Wimbledon history and making it to the fourth round in her Grand Slam debut in 2019. Since then, her tennis prowess has continued to soar and now, Gauff has firmly established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the world of tennis.

In tennis, there are moments that define a player's career and captivate the hearts of fans worldwide. Coco Gauff's remarkable triumph at the 2023 US Open is undoubtedly one such moment.
